First day of Tryouts/Practice- Friday, November 14, 2025 @ 3PM at Poquessing Middle School

- Thoroughly read all of the rules and, if you agree, please sign and return the bottom portion by Monday, November 17, 2025. Failure to sign this form and return by this date may jeopardize your spot on the team!

A total of 24 swimmers will make the varsity training squad.
A total of 20 additional swimmers will make the JV training squad.
On Friday, November 14th, all potential members will complete a timed 20 minute swim.
On Monday, November 17th, all potential members will compete in the Aquapentathlon.
Additionally, over the two days, all potential members will be assessed on their overall fitness (number of sit-ups in one minute, number of push-ups in thirty seconds, etc.)
At the end of practice on Tuesday, November 18th, the team will be announced.
Those athletes who hold a cruise time of One Minute and 30 seconds or faster will automatically make the varsity training squad. Any remaining spots open will be awarded to the next fastest swimmer(s) who have a one minute and fifty second cruise or faster. Results from the Aquapentathlon and Fitness test, and observed work ethic will also be considered in this decision. The remainder of the swimmers will be eligible to compete for the JV training squad. Consideration for these spots will include results from the T-20, Aquapentathlon, fitness tests and overall work ethic.
THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY PARENTS' MEETING on Monday, November 24th at 6 PM at Poquessing Middle School room B1
