Neshaminy High School operates a Learning Support Program to meet the needs of identified exceptional students at
the secondary level. Students who participate in this program work closely with their guidance counselor and
special education teacher when selecting courses each year. Placement in this program for special instruction is
based on the needs of each student as specified in his/her Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Students enrolled in special education programs are offered opportunities to participate in all school activities
on an equal basis with non-exceptional students. Successful completion of the special education program entitles a
student to a Neshaminy High School diploma.
