2026–2027 School Year
Neshaminy High School is excited to launch a new schoolwide Positive Behavior, Interventions, and Supports (PBIS) program for the 2026–2027 school year. PBIS is a proactive approach to creating a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment by clearly teaching, recognizing, and reinforcing expected behaviors throughout the school.
At the foundation of our PBIS program are three core behavior expectations:
Respect
Treat yourself, others, and school property with kindness, courtesy, and consideration.
Responsibility
Take ownership of your actions, be prepared, and make choices that contribute to personal and academic success.
Safety
Help create a secure environment by making responsible decisions that protect yourself and others.
These expectations will be taught, modeled, and reinforced in all areas of the school, including classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, buses, athletic events, and extracurricular activities.
PBIS Rewards and Nesh Cash
To recognize students who demonstrate these expectations, Neshaminy High School will utilize Nesh Cash as our schoolwide recognition system. Staff members will award Nesh Cash through the PBIS Rewards platform when students exhibit behaviors aligned with our expectations. Students can earn Nesh Cash in any school setting and will have opportunities to redeem their earnings for individual rewards and participate in a variety of schoolwide incentives, activities, and celebrations.
Our goal is to create a positive culture where students are acknowledged for making good choices and contributing to the success of our school community.
How Can Families Help?
Families play an important role in reinforcing these expectations at home.
Ask your student:
· How much Nesh Cash have you earned?
· What positive behavior(s) did you earn Nesh Cash for?
· What reward are you working toward?
· How are you demonstrating Respect, Responsibility, and Safety at school?
These simple conversations can help students take ownership of their behavior and celebrate their successes.
